Fungus Infections and Parkinsons

Question:

I would like to know if there is any information available about a connection between Parkinson’s and Candida Albicans?

Dorothy

Response:

I am convinced there is a direct link between fungus infections in the body and the symptoms of Parkinson’s.  I am also convinced there is a powerful connection between thoughts and the prevalence of candida yeast infections in the body.

I discussed the connection during my Parkinsons Recovery radio program which aired on May 7, 2009. You can listen to the full program by visiting the radio program page, and then scrolling back almost a year to my May 7th, 2009  program. The program is titled “Five Steps to Recovery from Parkinson’s disease.”

Once you arrive on the radio program website you will have to scroll back through the programs that have aired. At the bottom of the page there is a link that says “previous programs.” Keep clicking on that link until you roll back to this particular program.

I begin with a discussion about the profound relationship between thought forms and the symptoms of Parkinson’s which is the theme of my book Five Steps to Recovery. I then discuss the connection between candida (or yeast infections) and thought forms. Once you locate the program and start listening, hang in there. I begin discussing the link about 5 minutes into the show.

To hear the program (or download it) visit www.blogtalkradio.com/parkinsons-recovery.

You will also note there is a category link at the right of this blog titled “candida.” Click on that category now and you will see several articles on the topic of candidate.

You won’t find this information anywhere but here at Parkinsons Recovery!

Parkinsons Recovery with EFT, Meditation and Symptom Tracker

Question:

Help me find the tracking page…I used it one month ago and wish to record improvements.

Your Five Steps to Recovery book and meditations are terrific.

“Recovery will happen for me” is my new mantra.”

My body is responding. Also, your suggestion for remembering the feeling from past times I made non wishy washy decisions and the outcome was neverseriously in doubt. At first I couldn’t recall such decisions. Then it came later that I had indeed made 4 of them, all life and death decisions basedon how I thought and moved in a very short time span.

In my experience as a helicopter pilot I had 4 engine failures over a 30 yr period. One from 500 feet with a student, one from 15 feet over a helipad, one at night, over a city from 500 feet, and the last over the ocean from 200 feet with 6 on board. Each one the feeling deep down was that I knew the end result would be successful. That same feeling is the same feeling I have about recovery. I also have been using the TV screen meditation with interesting, positive results.

I also have to give credit for 5 sessions of EFT with Bernadette Hunter. You can listen to the radio program with Monica and Bernadette (or download it) here.  It’s all coming together slowly for me. Soon my Aquas will be arriving…So please, I pray I can still use your site’s tracking of symptoms program. It’s difficult to refind…

Monica

Response:

This is certainly an exciting report for everyone to hear. Thank you for sending it me and giving permission for others to read it. There are clearly exciting developments happening in your life. When you are on the road to recovery, it becomes so clear great things are beginning to happen.

Energy is running. A new and powerful life force begins to re-emerge. Of course, the process is seldom smooth sailing, but at least you know something important is happening.

I developed symptom tracker as a way for anyone to track the progress of their recovery. You answer a set of 39 questions from a standard research instrument that is use in Parkinson’s research (the PDQ39) to get a baseline. That is what Monica has done. You then answer the questions every month or so to see how your recovery is unfolding. You can see evidence of your progress!

We all have a tendency to focus on symptoms that are troubling and do not celebrate improvement in symptoms that have resolved or become much better. Tracking symptoms with my Symptom Tracker is thus a way to celebrate your improvements and identify any areas that need extra attention.

You can always find a link to Symptom Tracker on the main page at www.parkinsonsrecovery.com. Just click on the icon and you will be taken to the log in page. It will always be anonymous and free. You first have to register by entering an e mail address (that is how the data can be tracked) and choosing a password.

What Supplements Should I Take?

Question:

I’VE TRIED ALMOST EVERY THERAPY & TREATMENT OVER THE PAST 5 YRS, BUT THAT DARN PD STILL SEEMS TO PROGRESS.  THIS INCLUDED TWO STEM CELL TREATMENTS, UCB BY IV OUT OF THE COUNTRY…..IMPROVED OVER 1ST 6 MONTHS, THEM BENEFITS FADED AWAY! WHAT SUPPLEMENTS HAVE YOU FOUND TO HELP THE MOST?

Response:

The challenge is that every one’s needs differs. That is a real bummer to be sure. I think the trick is to learn how to connect with your body. The body is giving us the information about what it needs, we just have to listen. The other key is to be very mindful of what we put into our body as fuel.

I record weekly meditations where I address the challenge of connecting with our bodies.  New meditations are posted on the membership site every weekday. (www.parkinsonsrecovery.org).I contend that with a little practice and perseverance, we all can learn to listen to our bodies. When we listen, our bodies tell us what fuel they need.

Question:

MY WIFE HAS TRIED A LOT, BUT I WAS UNABLE TO ASSESS  THEIR EFFICACY…AT LEAST IN REDUCING PD SYMPTOMS. THERE ARE SO MANY SUPPLEMENTS OUT THERE, IT CAN DRIVE US BATTY!

Response:

We have had the same experience with clients we work with – they get a lot better and sometimes revert back to a previous level (not to the original level – but there are set backs). We are now working at the core level – looking at how certain seed thoughts actually drive the symptoms. I address the critical issue of thought forms in my new book Five Steps to Recovery (www.fivestepstorecovery.com)

Deborah now does quantum healings and is seeing remarkable successes, so this is very exciting. The root barrier to recovery turns out to be certain core thoughts that hang recovery up. Of course, the seed thoughts are usually unconscious which makes releasing them the trick of it all. The true healing comes with the restorative statements.
