    My PD symptoms have improved since I started playing tennis again one year ago. (I stopped for 8 years after I was diagnosed in 2000). I thought it would be bad for me. Boy was I wrong. I agree that exercise and diet make a tremendous difference. I feel really lethargic on the days I don’t play. I walk with my husband on those days at least 2 miles, but I miss the competition and adrenalin. I currently take meds (Sinemet and Stalevo and Requip) but each day I monitor to try to take a little less. Some days I can, some days I can’t. I am always grateful and say a lil prayer of thanks each time I step onto the court. I have changed my diet (given up wheat and dairy) since I joined this program. I am drinking twice the amount of water (with Aquas) that I used to drink. I do feel better. And I am happy to know I am taking control of my health.
    Thank you.

    I was diagnosed with parkinson’s almost a year ago and began taking levadopa about 6 months ago. I am curious about what you say about monitoring to takes a little less of your meds. Can you really tell a difference? I cannot seem to and am not even sure what I would look for. For instance, taking the levadopa my handwriting has improved but my tremor in my legs has not. When I miss a dose of levadopa, I do not notice any poorer handwriting or better control of my legs. The only other real distinct think I have changed is to using an electric toothbrush. I suppose I could try going back to the manual but really think the electric is better than I ever did with the manual even before the parkinson’s.

    I am beginning to notice an effect from exercise. This however is also complicated by the fact that I broke my hip a little over a year ago so sometimes I cannot tell if a difficulty is from that or from the parkinson’s.

    “Effect of Spiritual healing in curing Parkinson”
    +==================================+
    I am working as spiritual & Distant healor from Udaipur (India) specially for the patient suffering from Parkinson and knee joint pain. Apart from their regular medical treatment and medicines I involve them in total spirituality and use medicated oil massage on affected portion of body with my spiritual hands along with mantras. The result are fascinating and attractive with self satisfaction. My patient after the treatment starts working as normal person with full of joy and happiness. I shall be glad to work as spiritual healor with you on demand for the benefit of mankind, and would love to perform joint research in eradicating this devastating disease from this world.
    God bless to all.
