Have Trouble Sleeping at Night?

Many people who experience symptoms of Parkinson’s disease do have trouble sleeping.  You should be able to gain helpful insights into a potential reason for this problem depending on when you cannot get to sleep at night.  Organs in the body are more active at specific times during the day and night according to the tried and true Chinese Medicine Clock.

Here is an example of how you can use the Chinese Time Clock when you have difficult sleeping. It helps you determine what may be causing the problem. Do you often have a difficult time getting to  sleep between 1 am and 3 am?  If you do, the potential cause is a liver imbalance or a persistent stagnation in energy flowing through the liver.

If this is a pattern of yours, acupuncturists recommend that you can cleanse your liver at the start of each day by drinking a cup of warm water that contains the juice of a half lemon squeezed into it.  Exercise during the day is important. In addition, you can also try taking 1-2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar throughout the day.

These are all natural remedies acupuncturists recommend for liver cleanses which, with a little luck, may also facilitate sounder sleep during that 1-3 am hour.
