Do you seem to always have no energy?
Are you always fatigued?

Some people diagnosed with Parkinson’s have an iron deficiency. Iron is an essential mineral that the body needs to fuel energy. Your body uses iron to make hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs throughout the body, and myoglobin, a protein that provides oxygen to muscles.

Iron deficiencies can obviously contribute to tremors and other neurological symptoms.  A natural source of iron is found in foods. Certain foods like lentils and kale have a high iron content.

If the deficiency is serious – which may account for low energy – should you take an iron supplement?

List to this clip in which naturopath John Coleman offers his surprising solution to treating iron deficiencies, an approach you may have never considered.
