Supplements for Parkinson’s Disease and MAXGXL
DEAR ROBERT,
I HAVE ENJOYED AND PROFITED A LOT FROM YOUR NEWSLETTERS, AND
MANY HAVE HELPED MY WIFE, WHO HAS ADVANCED PD FOR OVER 6 YRS,
BUT IS STILL DOING REAL GOOD.
I AM WRITING ABOUT SUPPLEMENTS, AND HOW THEY CAN BE BENEFICIAL
FOR PD PATIENTS. I KNOW YOU HAVE WRITTEN A NEWSLETTER ON THIS,
WHICH I FULLY AGREE ON.
BEFORE, I USED TO GIVE MY WIFE PLENTY OF VARIOUS VITAMINS,
MINERALS AND OTHER SUPPS FOR YEARS WHICH DIDN’T SEEM TO DO
HER MUCH GOOD, BECAUSE OF HER ABSORPTION PROBLEMS AND
CONSTIPATION. NOW, I HAVE CHANGED MY APPROACH, GIVING HER
GOOD PROBIOTICS, CONTINUING GOOD FOODS AND SENSIBLE DIET,
BUT REDUCING THE QTY OF SUPPS…AND SHE IS DOING MUCH BETTER,
ESPECIALLY WITH THE CONSTIPATION PROBLEM SOLVED!!
THERE ARE MANY MLM’S AROUND PROMOTING THEIR “INNOVATIVE”
PRODUCTS, SUCH AS MAXGXL…WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BOOST THE
GLUTATHIONE LEVELS…IS A POWERFUL AO…ETC. MY WIFE TRIED IT
FOR 4 MONTHS LAST YEAR…DID HER NO GOOD!! IT DID AT THE
BEGINNING, BUT BENEFITS FADED AWAY. WE STOPPED IT.
WHAT IS YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS PRODUCT THAT SEEMS TO BE

Question:
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON MAXGXL THAT SEEMS TO BE
INFESTING THE MARKET?
Response:
I have located a couple who promote the product. The husband (who
has had Parkinson’s for many years) reports relief from his symptoms,
though he is clearly not symptom free today.
They will tell their story during a teleseminar I am having this
Friday, March 20th at 11:00 am pacific time.
Write any question you might have about MAXGXL and I will
ask them during the teleseminar Friday. It would be great if
other people would write in about their own experience with
using this product.
I am not clear myself about what this product is designed to
do, so I will know more after the teleseminar. I do know that there
is no product on the market that helps everyone recover. Sounds like
your experience has not been positive which is typical of the stories
I hear about every supplement or therapy. Most supplements and
therapies help some people (and sometimes many people), but never
all people. This is what my research shows time and time again.
If any product or supplement helps a mere 1% of the people who
have the symptoms of Parkinsons, it is worth investigating.
I love your tonic for Parkinson’s. Now in my opinion, your tonic will work
for everyone!

If you listen to Dr. Keller’s explanation of the MaxGXL product, you should come away with a better understanding of how it works. To be clear, the following is my understanding of his product, not his words per se. They can be obtained for you.
Every disease or debilitating condition seems to have a high and tight correlation with the underpresence of Glutathione at the cell level. The chalenge is to stimulate the body to produce and maintain greater levels of Glutathione so as not to become “sick” or to stem or slow down the advancement of the “sickness”.
MaxGXL is not a cure. It is NOT a medicine. It is a cell function improver. Max GXL is more than just the precursors of Glutathione. It is a battery that results in Glutathione being increased as a result of a number of improvements in cell function.
It cannot undo damage done if that damage is past the point at which the cell itself can repair itself. Stem Cells will replace those cells when they find them. However, every cell in the body has some self-repair ability, just like people have the ability to nurse themselves back into better health yet not back to the health of their youth.
The problem with cells is that they operate in a dynamic balance. A reaction occurs in which part of a molecular chain will be used to form something the cell needs. That always leaves an unstable free radical in the way of what is left. The free radical wants to get married to whatever it can ASAP, and that means if its chemical attractiveness is right, it will snatch something out of the cell’s structure or from what is within the cell, including pieces of its DNA, perhaps attatching to it.
Cells are supposed to produce and have in them the anti-oxidants that latch onto these wild free radicals and escort them out of the body. Glutathione is one of those and is in fact the most predominant and the most powerful in operation within the watery based parts of cells. Cells produce their own supply of Glutathione. However free-radicals can be in too great a supply for the volume of Glutathione and other anti-oxidants to totally absorb them. Then the proper functioning processes within the cell begin to suffer interference and the volumes of antioxidants produced begin to diminish. As key anti-oxidants diminish in the body, further diminishment of Glutathione levels occur as the recycling process of the antioxidants breaks down and the cells become dependent upon just the meagre amount of Glutathione produced.
When the cell functions break down, the enzymes and other chemical chains produced in the cell for subsequent work can have errors in their make up which leads to wrong things happening. Inflamation results. The cells themselves are”SICK”. After a time, the body begins to show signs of that “sickness”.
If Glutathione levels are low and the cell funciton is below what the body believes it should be at, a chemical message is generated that the cell reads as a suicide instruction and the cell will self-extinguish itself. That alone should be reason enough to take the MaxGXL in whatever quantity results in an arresting of the deterioration where possible or in its rate of decline.
A small amount of something may not be enough. So as Doctors do with medicines, a stronger dose of MaxGXL or a more frequent dose may be what is required.
Dr. Keller noted that the cells in the gut wall can manifest problem by not allowing proper pass-through of the nutrients needed by the cells to do their jobs. Those nutrients include the “precursors” of Glutathione. So his first concern in putting together MaxGXL was to improve that function. His second concern was to improve the production of the anti-oxidants that Glutathione has to cover for when they are in short supply themselves. Most “anti-oxidants” that are promoted either contribute to the elevation of the production of Glutathione or do work that it would otherwise have to do, thereby allowing more of it to look after cleaning up and regulating the functions of the cells or of keeping the immune system balanced and the free radicals in minimum quantity in the blood supply. His third goal, then, was to get more Glutathione produced internally by each cell by getting the precursors of Glutathione into the cell for the cell to use to produce more of it.
Dr. Perlmutter in Florida, injected the artificial L-Glutathione intra-venously into Parkinson’s Disease patients and found that their symptoms greatly abated after about three hours. Obviously that benefit wore off as that unreclycable version of Glutathione did not last. His observation was that the cells in the synapses of the nerves were improved in their function enough to allow the signals sent on the nerves to be properly transmitted and processed. That makes a lot of sense.
However, the problems with the Parkinson’s patients may be that the DNA within the mitochondria of the cells may be so damaged at some point that they cannot be easily repaired, or that the rate of progression in deterioration exceeded the countering effect of the given volume of Glutathione as may be the case in the situation of “GF” who posed the question.
To get a proper appreciation of how UNSIMPLE the cell is, serach up MITCHONDRION on Wikipedia and read about these incredible critical parts of every cell that are responsible for cell function and the production of energy and Glutathione as well as most of the other anti-oxidants, enzymes, proteins, etc.. They have lots of parts, all crucial, that are vulnerable to attack by Free Radicals and the damage that occurs and is not repaired or the toxins that roost and are not removed simply accumulate and accelerate the development of problems. Glutathione is you principal policeman, garbage collector and cell slave.
My suggestion is that GF continue whatever he is doing that works AND increase the volume of MaxGXL as it evidently worked for his wife for a time, and works for others.
The most intelligent approach is to take a large quantity of Max GXL as there is nothing in it to make things worse, to improve the absorption of needed nutrients, especially those that will fight the cell damage and rebuild the body — particularly those that increase the Glutathione at the intra-cell levels. For the record, in a Double Blind study, MaxGXL over 2 months trial, elevated the intra-cell levels of Glutathione by 292% and of DHEA by about 50% and of IGF-1 by about 40 %. No doubt other good results that have not been quantified happen as a result of improved cell function.
There are foods that he can use as diet that optimize the production of Glutathione. He should use them as well. There are supplements such as WHEY that deliver a bang for the buck in Glutathione perks, but as with many supplements, there may be some formulas or brands that deliver more than others.
There are things like NAC (n-acetyl cysteine) which can be hard on some stomachs but which deliver the prime ingredient that the body uses to produce the glutathione. Immunotec produces and sells some glutathione enhancing products. That company provides precursors such as are in MaxGXL that are recognized by the cells and utilized by them to produce more Glutathione. Then there are the Vitamins E and C and the B’s that are all involved in helping recycle and preserve Glutathione for the intra-cell work and for the free radical round-up.
Glutathione also escorts nutrients into cells as well as removing items. It is involved in helping the cells rebuild and repair what they can of themselves after suffering the free radical damage.
As Glutahtione volumes increase, production of Glutathione withiin the cells and liver increase, and the spiral of diminishing quantities reverses itself into a positive trend. With greater Glutathione levels, the cells can approximate proper cell functioning potential for their condition. In as much as that can occur, there will be lessening and even, perhaps, a minor reversal of the deterioration of the condition or disease.
Additionally, Parkinson’s sufferers should look at R-alpha-Lipoic Acid which is an almost equally powerful but less omni-purpose anti-oxidant. It is the strongest anti-oxidant for the fatty-based parts of nerves and is recycled by Vitamin “E’ which is recycled by vitamin “C” which is recycled by Glutathione. Once again, insufficient supply of Glutathione can mean that cycle may not recur sufficiently often to keep the system in balance.
Toxic metals are inducted into the body through a multitude of ways and they can cause major interference. Glutathione binds to those toxins and R-alpha Lipoic Acid does as well. Glutathione also has to remove the garbage from the liver where the anti-oxidants deposit their cargo when they have done their work.
This note started out saying there was a dynamic balance and so it is. Glutathione is the principal player, but all the balls have to be kept in the air or the juggling act falls apart and the body gets sick and manifests disease or conditions many of which seem to accompany growing older.
Search the roles of and what is said about Glutathione and diseases by sources other than MaxGXL or Max International and its reps, and you will find validation in plenty for what has been outlined above. Or ask the MaxGXL rep for all of his written and website information.
Dr. Keller, recently deceased, was an oncologist, an immumologist and a hematologist of respected standing and served on many advisory boards, including the Mayo Clinic. His work should not be doubted. Use his product with other aids and turn the ship around.
No Button should be left unpushed.
MaxGXL cannot be a cure but it can be a most important part and key link in changing the tide.

My experience with antioxidents is that if you use them and get temporary results but then problem gets worse again in spite of supplementation with antioxident, then its time to look for a mineral deficiency. If you find the mineral deficiency, then its time to look for the cause of the mineral deficiency. I am suggesting this out of personal experience, and it works for me. If there are problems with absorption, then look at possibilities like Gluten intolerance etc.
There is no limit to product intake. It is a use as needed. SO if the dosage is not continueing to work for you… take more. Remember it does not DELIVER Glutathione it delivers the nutrients for your cells to produce it. Short of an IV there is no successful delivery system. Whenever I have felt the effects diminish on a particularily trying day I will just take another dose. It works for me. It has worked for all my friends, young and old. as for any particular disease… it is not toted as a cure for ANYTHING. But like anything ingested, if there is a pre existing condition that reduces overall nutrient absorbtion, then logically it would make sense to address that first. Can’t get air into a block airway.
I do hope you and those you love greater health soon.
Remember, NOTHING replaces a healthy lifestyle.
